These include a natural drink made with green tea, pineapple and cinnamon, which helps to detoxify the body and burn calories at the same time.

The green tea, pineapple and cinnamon drink is a purifying and diuretic remedy. « Drunk regularly, it helps to reduce weight without suffering from nutritional deficiencies or adverse reactions. It is a food supplement thanks to its nutrient content. It optimises the work of the metabolism to facilitate the use of energy sources », reassures Sandrine Zerbo, Nutritionist, State Registered Dietician, Specialist in Clinical Nutrition and Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition.

Drinking this beverage lowers high cholesterol levels. It also « reduces anxiety, facilitates the elimination of liquids that cause inflammation in the tissues, and strengthens the metabolism by improving the processes that transform fats and sugars into sources of energy », explains Sandrine Zerbo, Nutritionist and Dietician.

How do I prepare this drink?

This natural drink can be the best way to lose weight without risking your health or feeling hungry. You can drink it at the start of the day or when you feel a slight hunger coming on.

Recipe: 1 x 250 ml water (half a pure water), ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (2 g), 1 teaspoon green tea (5 g), 2 slices pineapple, 2 tablespoons honey (50 g). Bring the water to the boil and add the cinnamon powder. Leave on the heat for at least 2 minutes, then add the green tea. Wait for the infusion to cool to room temperature, for 8 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, extract the juice from the pineapple slices. When the infusion is lukewarm, add the pineapple juice and the 2 tablespoons of honey. Stir well to combine and drink lukewarm. Drink this infusion no more than 2 times a day. Repeat daily, or at least 3 times a week.
