National Health Insurance Institute (INAM) now facilitates communication with
its beneficiaries: the number 8220 can be reached free of charge, regardless of
the telephone operator used. This decision marks a further step in the
institution's desire to get closer to its insured members.
Thanks
to this free service, users will be able to obtain information or report their concerns
at no cost. The aim is to make the service more accessible and remove the
financial barriers that could have prevented people from contacting the
institute.
This
initiative is part of the implementation of Universal Health Insurance (AMU), which
aims to guarantee health coverage for all segments of the population. INAM thus
intends to improve the quality of its support and the speed of its assistance.
A
key player in the system, the institute manages coverage for civil servants,
civilian and military retirees, and vulnerable individuals. With this now
toll-free number, it is affirming its commitment to offering a more inclusive
service, that is attentive to the needs of its insured members.
