his gratitude to the Togolese Government for its policy to improve the state of
health of the Togolese people. He also expressed his gratitude to the World
Bank Group for its constant support and commitment to building an efficient and
reliable health system. These actions also illustrate the dynamic partnership
between the World Bank Group and Togo, particularly in the universal public
health sector.Cooperation between the Bretton Woods institution and Togo
focuses on several strategic areas, namely the development of high-quality
human resources and the construction, rehabilitation and equipping of social
and health infrastructures. The World Bank Group's Resident Representative in

Togo in modernising its health system. In his view, the equipment is intended to
support Togo's efforts to provide effective patient care in our hospitals.
The

undertaken to bring healthcare closer to the people, especially the most
vulnerable, with a view to achieving universal health coverage.
